KARACHI STOCK EXCHANGE
The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE), is a Stock Exchange currently located at the Stock Exchange Building (SEB)on Stock Exchange road. It is Pakistan's largest and one of the oldest stock exchange in South Asia by market capitalization, with many Pakistani consortium as well as overseas enterprises listings.
Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) is founded on September 18, 1947. Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) is the biggest and most liquid exchange in Pakistan. It was declared the �Best Performing Stock Market of the World for the year 2002�
In 2012 there was 591 companies listed in Karachi Stock Exchange, and 3 new companies registered in 2012. From these companies, 217 companies related to textile and cotton sectors, 159 related to bank , however 89 were related to different industries. The listed capital of KSE was 1059.089 billion rupees.
